Baptism is the act of being momentarily immersed in water, publicly, as a symbol of a person’s decision to become a Christian. It is a covenant with God and His church to walk in the way of Jesus. Baptism is not a guarantee of salvation. It is a public sign that a person has repented of sins, received forgiveness of sins, died with Christ to sin, been raised to newness of life and received the Holy Spirit. It is an identification with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.

We conduct baptisms at our Sunday morning services regularly throughout the year.

Relevant scriptures regarding baptism include: Matthew 3:13-17, 28:18-20; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:2-6; Corinthians 12:13; Colossians 2:12-13; Galatians 3:26-27; Ephesians 4:4-6
