We are committed to partnering with parents in discipling their children and equipping them to grow in a loving and active relationship with Jesus.

The littlest ones here at MV Kids are important to us! Our nursery is here to provide a safe and loving environment for your 0-1 year old. We have caring staff who will make sure that your little one is taken care of while having fun!
What to pack in my diaper bag:
- 2 or 3 disposable diapers. No cloth diapers please.
- Pacifier or other items that your child might need for security
- A change of clothes in case your child may need it.
- A bottle of milk/formula, juice or water.
Please label all personal items with your child’s name before class. This helps us keep track of your child’s items.
Let us know any specific instructions you would like us to follow when you drop off your child. It is helpful for us to know when your child needs to eat or nap, along with specific instructions regarding snacks.
Please share any suggestions you have for improving our Nursery. We value your comments and want our Nursery to be a positive experience for all. Contact Gloria Wall by email gwall@mountainview.org or by phone at the church office (559) 291-9199.
Safety and Health
We require all our volunteers to be trained and screened and maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.
Child Dedication
When dedicating your baby, you celebrate a commitment to raise your child in the ways of the Lord. You also commit to joining a community of believers who help you and hold you accountable. Read the Child Dedication brochure for more information.
To request a baby dedication, email our office at office@mountainview.org. Plan on submitting a request at least 4 weeks prior to your desired dedication date.
Our Toddler classes are for kids who are 18 months to 3 years of age. We want to teach these little children about who God is and that He loves them. Your child will hear stories from the Bible and learn great life lessons.
Each week your child will be taught a story or lesson from the Bible which you will be able to follow up with from a handout you will receive when you pick your child up from class. This handout will have the story that they learned along with Bible verses that you can read to your child everyday to help reinforce the lesson they learn.
Your child will also get to make a story-based craft and learn to participate in worship along with free play. We do provide a little snack so please inform our workers if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Our PreK/K classes are for preschool aged children through kindergarten. This is an exciting age for children to learn more about what is in the Bible and how it can be applied to life. Our teachers create a fun environment where your child can experience and learn more about God.
Each week your child will be taught a story or lesson from the Bible. When you pick your child up, you will receive a handout that has the story they learned, Bible verses that reinforce the lesson, and an activity page for you and your child to do together.
Your child will also get to make a story-based craft and learn to participate in worship, as well as getting to go outside to our playground where they have free play time. We do provide a little snack so please inform our workers if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

We want to help develop children in Grades 1-6 into young men and women who know Jesus and experience what it means to have a relationship with Him. Your child will learn about what is in the Bible, what it means for them, and how to apply it in their lives. They will be challenged in their walk with God and learn what it means to follow Jesus.

When you arrive at MV Kids for the first time, we will meet your family and check your child into our database system. Once your family is checked in, one of our volunteers will show you to your child’s room. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags, which bears a code that is matched to your tag during checkout at the end of the service.
During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
At MVC, we are in need of people with hearts that want to serve in Kids Ministry. If you want to become a volunteer, please fill out our online application.
